My Story

Hello, my name is Jonathan Pope and I am a Tampa-based portrait and lifestyle photographer.

I picked up the camera two years ago and I haven’t put it down since. My first love is street photography, but quickly drew an attraction to portrait photography/videography.

With a little push outside of my comfort zone, I started photographing friends and learned that is something that I want to do the rest of my life.

I can hold my own on the following topics: 80s horror, psychopharmacology, and anything Pee Wee Herman.

I am super duper passionate for all animals and haven’t eaten one in 12 years.

I always shoot for

⇏ a unique and individualized experience .
⇏ I love love love the moody cinematic look.
⇏ Bold, confident. All those good words. I want the client always to feel good.

Portraits

I want you to be able to look at your portraits and remember how much fun we had making them!

“I have always wanted to do boudoir shoot that looked artistic and represennted strength for me. Jonathan exceeded every expectation I had. He made me feel accepted, comforted and gave me time to breaks or make adjustments. He was an excellent guide and support for the vulnerability I felt and made me feel incredible throughout this shoot. I can not wait to do another photoshoot soon!!”

“Jonathan was fun to work with while being professional and efficient with our time. He had a great attitude, was creative, and produced incredible photos that I can’t believe came from such an enjoyable, laid back session. I can’t wait to find more reasons to work with him and hire him in the future. Myself, along with many others, consider him to my new “go-to” photographer.”

“Jonathan was a phenomenal photographer. Not only was this my first photoshoot ever, but the fact that he made me feel comfortable is a plus. he directed me on what to do and what was best for the overall shot. In between we had some laughs, but his work is by far the best!”
